Adults are welcome to attend with their child at no cost. If no adult stays with child, emergency contact information must be provided.
Homeschool collectives and larger groups are encouraged to schedule a private session! Please contact the Springbrook Nature Center for more information.

Learn to read the clues left behind by the animals of Springbrook. Discover which ones are busy hopping, snacking, tunneling or flying all winter long!
Older (10-14): Orienteering (Map&Compass)
Using a compass is a great way to conquer your fear of getting lost in the wilderness. Learn about navigation and using a compass to explore and find your way off-trail at Springbrook. Discover the fun of competing on an orienteering course.
Get the scoop on Minnesota’s favorite reptiles and amphibians! These cold blooded animals are fascinating: we’ll take a close and personal look at how they survive in Minnesota. Meet some of our nature center resident animals and head outside to see how early spring habitats are getting ready for our emerging herptiles!
